About CTECU

What is a Credit Union?

CTECU is a group of Chevron employees and annuitants who have combined their resources so that they can earn more from savings and pay less when borrowing. CTECU serves Chevron employees in Texas and Chevron annuitants. CTECU is an independent, nonprofit organization chartered and supervised by the Texas Credit Union Dept. CTECU has been meeting the financial needs of its member/owners since 1952.

Employee Owned

Credit Unions are in business to promote thrift among its members and provide low-cost loans. Your credit union is overseen by a 9-member Board of Directors with assistance from audit and credit committees.

Our mission is to offer members exceptional service, competitive interest rates, and sound financial management. We do this by aggressive loan promotions, maximizing return on investments, responsive and prompt member service. We are dedicated to providing education to our membership and promoting prudent financial behavior and planning.
